Since 1946, US brand Klipsch has been providing legendary sound through speakers, headphones and home audio. Founder Paul W. Klipsch believed in four principles to be the foundation for great sound. They continue to drive the design of every new Klipsch speaker, today and tomorrow: high efficiency, low distortion, controlled directivity and flat frequency response.
Paul invented the first Klipschorn® speaker in his garden shed in Arkansas, way back in 1946. Paul's innovative work has played a massive part in the evolution of speakers in general. His work can be thanked for a lot of the great audio advancements of this century and last. Throughout his life Paul won many awards for his engineering, passion and drive, including; Audio Engineering Society's Silver Medal; In 1997 he was inducted into the Engineering and Science Hall of Fame; In 2004 he was inducted into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame.
