It's all too common to be confronted with an environment where it is difficult, if not impossible, to install standard in-ceiling speakers. Speakercraft have recognised this problem and have come up with a solution. The Accufit Ultra Slim.
Not content with making an ordinary shallow speaker, they went to work to create a small masterpiece. The Accufit Ultra Slim features a single dome tweeter surrounded by four drivers, two of which are mid-range and the other two are bass drivers. The use of multiple small drivers with neodymium magnets allows for greater bass response, sound pressure levels and dispersion. The rear of the speaker is completely sealed in a zinc and powder coated steel enclosure. This enclosure not only assures consistent sound quality regardless of placement but also limits the transfer of sound into adjacent rooms.
With a total depth of only 50 millimetres, this speaker will fit into a myriad of different environments. Ultra thin walls, ceilings where plaster-board has been placed over an existing surface or simply any install with extreme depth restrictions. These are all locations where the AccuFit Ultra Slim is the perfect solution.
